By purchasing tickets through our website using our secure ticketing platform (Tix.com) or by calling our box office directly at 865-856-1117, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy, as well as the applicable ticketing platform’s terms and conditions.

Tickets are sold as a license to attend a live performance on a selected date and time. No refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to illness, personal emergencies, travel issues, weather conditions, scheduling conflicts, or failure to attend the performance.

Rescheduling & Ticket Credits (Courtesy Offering)

If you are unable to attend your selected performance, you may request one of the following as a courtesy, subject to availability:

• Exchange tickets for a different performance date
• Exchange tickets for an alternate show
• Receive a ticket credit for a future performance

Ticket credits are valid for one (1) year from the date of issue.

All requests to cancel, reschedule, or amend a reservation must be made prior to the scheduled performance start time. Requests made after the performance has begun will not be honored. Failure to attend a scheduled performance does not constitute grounds for a refund or credit.

Third-Party Ticketing Platform (Tix.com)

Tickets purchased through Tix.com are processed using their secure checkout system. Tix.com acts solely as the ticketing service provider and does not independently authorize refunds or exchanges. Refund eligibility is governed exclusively by the event organizer’s policy (this policy).

By completing a ticket purchase, you agree that refunds and exchanges are not permitted, and any permitted rescheduling or ticket credits are offered solely at the theater’s discretion.

Box Office Purchases

Tickets purchased by phone through our box office are subject to the same terms and conditions as online purchases. By completing a phone transaction, you confirm that you have been informed of and agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Show Cancellation by the Theater

In the event that Steven Best’s Smoky Mountain Theater cancels a performance, ticket holders will be offered one of the following options:

• Tickets to a rescheduled performance date, or
• A refund of the ticket purchase price to the original method of payment

Refunds for theater-canceled performances will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.
